A recent update brought an initial beta version of the mods toolkit for fans to experiment with. Of course, what most Mount & Blade fans want to see more of is the modding tools. As you progress and advance skills such as weapon proficiency, leadership, trade, and other talents, you will have the option to unlock perks which grant permanent buffs. One big change since the original Mount & Blade and Warband is the expansion of skills to now include perks.
